The Gold Ink Award was co-sponsored and presented by Publishing & Production Executive and Printing Impressions magazines. The award criteria was based on overall quality of design, color management and printing of magazines.
The competition attracted nearly 1,700 entries within North America; the team I led and the work I directed won in the category of Tabloid Publications. Mark S. Hertzog, Publisher of Publishing & Production magazine sent his congratulations, informing me that our team is "now a member of the Gold Ink elite -- the most successful and influentail creators of printing in the world".
In addition to The Gold Ink Award, the agency I founded [i2i Creative] received over 15 American Graphic Design Awards between 2004, 2005 and 2006 -- noted to be the most awards by a single agency.
